We are walking through the three sections of Agile Leadership Training offerings from the Scrum Alliance, explaining their particulars in three separate posts to empower you to make decisions on the best course for your needs.
First, in an earlier post, we explained the base course, Certified Agile Leadership Essentials. In this post, we will discuss Certified Agile Leadership for Teams.
Certified Agile Leadership for Teams – CAL-T

Certified Agile Leadership for Teams is about leaders cultivating their team members’ sense of ownership on the team level as we equip team members to solve their own problems.
In CAL-T we discuss how leaders can create environments that draw out the thoughts and ideas of even the quietest individuals. Our teams are more balanced when we create space for healthy discussions that give a fair hearing to diverse or even opposing stances to reach the strongest solutions.
“Agile teams require an alternative to the traditional leadership approaches of the past in order to navigate this volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous world. CAL for Teams shows you how to create a safe-to-fail environment and foster a culture of transparency, inspection, and adaptation to allow for experimentation and continuous learning within your teams. The goal of this offering is to create awareness about the changing dynamics in today’s world of work and equip leaders with the practices they need to lead their teams with agility.” (Scrum Alliance website)
CAL-T is for teams and for the individuals on those teams. Consider what CAL-T offers and how it will help level up your team!
