The credential

Scrum Alliance
A digital badge you can add to LinkedIn the day you finish, backed by a globally recognized credentialing body. Microcredentials are stackable — this one builds on Introduction to Agile Coaching and Becoming an Agile Coach, and continues into Coaching for Change and Coaching for Transformation.
What you'll learn
Facilitating, teaching, mentoring, advising, leading, and coaching — scenario by scenario, until choosing the right move stops being theoretical.
Module 01
Plan and run sessions that get a group to real, shared decisions — including reading the room through body language and other listening cues.
Module 02
Foster continuous learning through storytelling, classroom management, and teaching methods that actually fit how adults learn.
Module 03
Balance coaching and advising to grow a mentee, and know when to share expertise versus draw out their own answer.
Module 04
Build trust, ask the questions that surface what a client actually needs, give feedback that lands, and hold boundaries.
Module 05
Inspire through responsibility and resilience, and model the transparency and collaboration you want a team to adopt.
Module 06
Ask the questions that prompt real team reflection, and set a coaching agreement everyone actually understands.
Case study
The session closes on real-world scenarios, applying all six stances to problems that don't come with a clean textbook answer.
Who it's for
You don't need to have taken the earlier coaching courses — you need moments where naming the right move isn't the same as actually making it.
A practical, scenario-based way to build the coaching skillset from the ground up.
The coaching moves that let you guide adoption instead of just mandating it from above.
Sharper coaching skill so the investment your organization already made actually pays off.
Especially facilitating and leading — the two moves this course goes deepest on.
Ready to supercharge a coaching toolkit that's currently doing most of its work through facilitation alone.
Growing their team-coaching abilities beyond whatever role they hold today.
Straight answer on prerequisites: there are none. Some familiarity with agile will help you follow the scenarios, but you don't need to have taken Introduction to Agile Coaching or Becoming an Agile Coach first.
What's included
One private session, run for your group, with everyone walking away with their own credential.

Small enough that Scott works the scenarios directly with your questions, not a recorded lecture.

Questions
Introduction to Agile Coaching and Becoming an Agile Coach lay the groundwork — what coaching is, and the six stances a coach moves through. This course is where those stances turn into practiced skill, worked through scenario after scenario. None of the three is a strict prerequisite for the others, but they're designed to build in this order. From here the pathway continues into Coaching for Change and Coaching for Transformation — see the full pathway below.
No. There are no prerequisites, and you don't need to have completed Introduction to Agile Coaching or Becoming an Agile Coach first. Some familiarity with agile will help you follow the scenarios, but it's not required.
No exam. Attend the full live session and participate, and we register you for the Scrum Alliance Agile Coaching Skills microcredential. Your digital badge follows shortly after.
One 4-hour live virtual session working through all six stances, closing on real-world scenarios. It's interactive by design, so plan on cameras on and be ready to work a problem, not just watch one.

The coaching pathway
These five Scrum Alliance microcredentials aren't prerequisites for each other, but they're designed to build in this order.
The foundations — what agile coaching is, and the presence it takes to hold space for a team.
The six stances of a coach, and knowing which one a moment actually calls for.
Turning the six stances into scenario-tested skill.
The skills to coach a whole organization as a single client.
Making sure the change you helped create actually survives.
