What is the daily schedule of a typical class?

Our public Certified Scrum classes start at 9:00 AM and dismiss at 5:00 PM. That is two 8 hour days. There is a lunch break, with lunch provided, each day. The class decides on how long the lunch will be, typically 30 minutes. There are several other breaks throughout the day.

We do our best to start and end on time, however, sometimes there are a few important points that still need to be covered at the end of the second day which could result in a slight extension of 15 to 30 minutes.

What are the next steps after I complete a CSM or CSPO training?

The Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification requires passing an online exam after taking the face-to-face course with a Certified Scrum Trainer. After you complete the course with our Certified Scrum Trainer, we will register you as having completed the course on the Scrum Alliance website. Scrum Alliance Registration for both CSM and CSPO cost $50. With Rocket Nine Solutions public classes, this $50 registration fee is included with the price of the class. With your Scrum Alliance registration, you will receive a link to take your exam. You get two attempts within 90 calendar days after you receive this welcome email to pass the test at no additional cost. After two attempts or 90 calendar days, Scrum Alliance will charge $25 for each additional attempt. A minimum passing score of 24 of the 35 multiple choice questions is required. The exam is “open book” and we provide you with ample material to help you be ready. Although we offer no guarantees, Rocket Nine Solutions’ student pass rate average is 99%.

For Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification, the exam is not required as of the time of this writing. You will receive your notification of your Scrum Alliance Registration and CSPO certification shortly after completing the course.
